HISTORY

 

The company was founded in 1977 by John Barnett to provide the entertainment industry with innovative products and services. Over the years Stardream has been involved in many products that you have heard of - the main one being Silly String! John saw the product in Holland under a different name and saw the opportunity to bring it back to the UK as the sole distributor and created the name Silly String. In 1982 together with his wife Danielle the business grew and Party House was created. Party House were the very first suppliers for Red Nose Day and had major contracts worldwide with the likes of Guinness, Virgin and many other Blue Chip companies. Party House was later sold to a large PLC in 2010.
